واصل أبو بكر كاكي خميس تالقه الملفت ونجاحاته بفوزه بسباق 800 م للقاء موناكو لألعاب القوى، الجولة العاشرة من الدوري الماسي للجولة الثانية على التوالي بعدما سجل 1.43.10 دقيقة،
وتقدم البطل كاكي الذي أحرز في مارس الماضي لقب بطل العالم داخل القاعة في الدوحة، على الكيني بواز لالانغ (1.43.29 د) وبطل العالم السابق الجنوب إفريقي مبولايني مولاودوزي (1.43.29أيضاً)، فيما حل البحريني بلال منصور علي في المركز الثامن (1.45.46 د).
